Has Political Correctness Gone Mad?
Political Correctness or PC to give it its' shortened and more
popular title is now entering the realms of silliness. Mind you
it has always been that way but now PC has taken a giant leap
forward.
Let me explain.
I live in the United Kingdom, a multi cultural society where 98%
of the time all peoples of all race and culture get on very well
together.
So why is it that people who seem to think that they know best
try to put a stop to this living in harmony by making brainless
rules and ...

A Wise Woman: Lesson #6 Priorities, Part B
Lessons for Women from God's Word
A Wise Woman: Lesson #6 Priorities, Part B
As we saw in the previous lesson, our top priority should be to spend time daily in fellowship with the Lord, listening to and talking with Him. Unless we see this as our greatest need, we will never truly be the godly women that God intends for us to be.
Number two on the list of priorities, for the married woman, is her husband. "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as ...

Warming Winter Thoughts
Warming winter thoughts
The air is getting crisper and the leaves have almost finished
falling. Winter is almost upon us. The changing of the seasons
are timely reminders of the cycle of life and the need for
change.
What exactly is the message of winter? The message is that some
times we need to let go. Some times things finish serving their
purpose. Some times we no longer have need for the things that
we have. Some times, the time comes to 'out with the old'.
Winter is all about creating ...

The Magnificent Power of Giving
You've probably heard of the popular saying "It's better to give
than to receive." But do you actually know what hidden power
lies within this magnanimous act known as "giving?"
When you give something from your heart without expecting
anything in return, you release a powerful force that will
trigger your good deed to "bounce" back to you in amazing, and
sometimes unusual ways.
I firmly believe that whatever you impart to others will come
back to you a hundred fold. You are doing yourself a ...

How to Beat the After-Christmas Blues
Christmas is an emotional storm, and next comes Valentine's, so
take a break. Move from emotion to thinking and action.
1.Start planning a Valentine's Party, or Martin Luther King
Party. If you were running a day late and a dollar behind for
Christmas, learn from it. Budget and start sooner, but have the
fun of another 'party' on the horizon. NB: Planning is a
cerebral activity, i.e., neocortex.
2.Get active ' add an extra hour to your daily workout. This
creates physical energy, clears the ...

Then, what is the real Holy Spirit?
Then, what is the real Holy Spirit? Christianity is not just a
religion but it is a way of Life. None of us could remain a
Christian if it wasn't for someone, always with us, to help us
thru this walk. Our understanding of Prophecy nor Scripture
would be complete without someone teaching us what the truth
was. Beginning with Genesis thru the Book of Revelations the
Holy Ghost {Holy Spirit} has always been with God for He is Gods
Spirit. The Holy Ghost is mentioned 89 times in the new

Theology, Hollywood Style
After years of watching TV shows and movies, I think I have
finally gotten a grasp on Hollywood's theology and it's not a
pretty picture (pun intended). It should come as no surprise to
anyone that Hollywood's theology is vastly different from that
of the average American. After all, Hollywood's morals and
values are not representative of Middle America, so why should
its theology be any different? Hollywood's theology is comprised
of three basic tenets. First, it is quite obvious that ...

The Cult Of Celebrity
Every day, we are privy to new and ever more lurid details of
Michael Jackson's strange lifestyle. We always knew he lived in
a fairy tale world where he honestly believed that he was white
and mainstream and emotionally healthy. Whether his peccadillos
were as innocent as he maintains is for the jury to decide but
regardless of whether he is guilty as accused, his behavior
certainly never even remotely exhibited any level of maturity or
the ability to make rational decisions beyond the "I want ...
